Since we always ensure that we cover all the relevant details required for a mortgage approval - this should be a very quick process. We will receive notification from the mortgage lender that the mortgage is approved and awaiting the closing date which will likely coincide with the date you take possession of the property that you purchased.
Please do not go out of town around the closing date. If you do plan to be out of town when your loan is expected to close, you should consider signing a power of attorney to authorize another individual to act on your behalf.
